We use professional gas leak detection equipment to find leaks that aren’t visible or obvious. This includes:
Electronic gas detectors — These pick up the presence of natural gas in the air at concentrations far lower than what your nose can detect.
Pressure testing — We test the pressure in your gas line and monitor it over time. A line that loses pressure when all appliances are off has a leak somewhere.
Soap bubble testing — For locating the exact spot of a known leak in an accessible section of pipe, we use a soap solution that bubbles up at the source. Simple but reliable.
Tracer gas testing — For underground or hard-to-reach lines, we can introduce a tracer gas that our equipment detects even through soil and walls.
